Chinese Proficiency Tests

Chinese Proficiency TestsThe Confucius Institute administers two standardized tests developed by Hanban to test non-native speakers on their Chinese language proficiency. The Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) is typically given to businesspeople and university-level students. The Youth Chinese Test (YCT) is designed for students in elementary or high school.
