Kennesaw State University has been selected by the Office of Chinese Language Council International (Hanban) as a Confucius Institute site. This selection places KSU among an exclusive group of universities partnering with the People’s Republic of China.
The nonprofit Confucius Institute at KSU promotes the study of Chinese language, culture, ethics, and philosophy, and furthers the understanding of China today.
KSU has become a key resource in developing networks with China, the world’s fastest-growing economy, while serving the growing educational and business communities in the Atlanta area, as well as the Southeastern United States.
The university partnered with Yangzhou University in China on establishing the Confucius Institute. For many years, KSU and YZU have worked together through the Chinese Language Study Abroad Program to provide quality education to students across the University System of Georgia.
