Each DGA Program participant will be required to develop a campus-based internationalization project related to their disciplinary major and one or more of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
This project will serve as the focal-point for the DGA Program and will be developed and refined over the course of the first nine-months of the program through seminars, retreats and formal U.N. training and project analysis in Geneva. Once the project proposal has been fully developed by the beginning of the Fall semester, DGA Program participants will then implement their projects over the course of the Fall Semester with guidance and feedback from Program faculty and staff.
Projects are intended to draw upon each student’s unique disciplinary approach to international development and engage KSU students, faculty and staff (alongside members of our local and global communities) in the sustainable development goals specifically and international education & exchange goals generally.
All projects will have a community outreach, education and engagement component incorporated into their design and implementation.
