  • Join the Education Abroad Office and Atlanta Passport Agency for Passport Day!

    Walk-Ins are welcome, appointments are strongly suggested.

    When: February 20, 2018 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
    Where: KSU Education Abroad Office: 3391 Town Point Drive, Suite 1700, Kennesaw, GA 30144.Open parking available! Or take the B.O.B. bus TOWN POINT route.
    What: The Atlanta Passport Agency is partnering with the Education Abroad Office on Tuesday, February 20th as part of the U.S. Department of State's Passport Awareness Campaign/ This event is a convenient way to apply for the first time or renew your passport!

    *To better serve you, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your reserved time.

    To apply for U.S. Passport please bring the following with you on the day of the event:

    Proof of U.S. Citizenship – Original Certified Birth Certificate, Naturalization Certificate, Citizenship Certificate, Previous U.S. Passport or Consular Report of Birth Abroad. Also provide a photocopy of the front and back of certificates.

    Valid Photo Identification – Drivers License, State Identification Card, Employment ID, Military ID or Student Identification which is only accepted in combination with 3 other pieces of identification. Also provide a photocopy of the front and back of your Identification.

    One Recent Passport Photograph (2” x 2”) – Photo must be on a white background. Photo services will not be available on-site. You can easily get passport photos taken at most Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, FedEx, and UPS stores.

    Passport Fees – Check/Money Order Preferred. Exact cash, credit/debit, acceptable. – $135 for first time application / $110 for renewal of 10 year passport / $105 for application of a minor / For Expedited Service add Expedite Fee of $60 / Add $15.45 for overnight delivery.

    Original Name Change Documentation – If Applicable. If you are seeking a name change on your passport, you must provide the original documentation.

  • Join the Education Abroad Office for a Health & Safety Workshop!

    This workshop will be presented by the Office of International Safety & Security. Learn more about how to stay safe and healthy abroad, use your international insurance, and KSU's emergency response procedures.

    When: Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am

    Where: KSU Town Point Room 1600. Town Point is located across the street from main campus behind the SpringHill Suites. The address is 3391 Town Point Drive, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Parking is readily available or you can take the B.O.B. Town Point route.

  • The Diversity and Inclusion Abroad workshop will be presented by the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs and hosted by the Education Abroad Office! This workshop will feature an interactive dialogue between fellow students and professional staff that prepares prospective and committed students from all identities and backgrounds to go abroad.

    When: Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm

    Where: KSU Town Point Room 1600. Town Point is located across the street from main campus behind the SpringHill Suites. The address is 3391 Town Point Drive, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Parking is readily available or you can take the B.O.B. Town Point route.

 Online Pre-Departure Orientation


All KSU Education Abroad students are required to complete the online Pre-Departure Orientation modules hosted on D2L. Accepted students will be added to these modules once applications close. Required modules must be completed prior to program departure.

The Education Abroad Office and program coordinators will contact accepted students directly with additional details!
