The Division of Global Affairs oversees the publication of two scholarly journals, The Journal of Global Initiatives and CUALLI Latin American and Iberian Studies Review. Both publications are peer-reviewed journals exploring a wide variety of international issues and themes.

The Journal of Global Initiatives: Policy, Pedagogy, Perspective is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal of intercultural and international
policy, pedagogy, and perspective. It provides a critical forum for scholarship that
examines global learning, diversity initiatives and comparative studies.
Articles are invited on the following themes:
- Global learning: research, innovations, theory and best practice in internationalization;
assessment of global learning, practices and processes leading to responsible global
citizenship; intercultural issues, conflict, and understanding; study abroad from
design to evaluation; and scholarship of international teaching or service
- Intersections of local and global issues; identity, ethnicity, and diversity; and
- Primary research on international politics, policies, globalization, and comparative studies
All submissions should be original, previously unpublished works in English. Feature articles should range from 5,000 to 7,500 words; while book reviews should range from 750 to 1,000 words. Use APA style throughout. To facilitate the blind-review process, include your name and institutional affiliation along with a short biographical statement on the cover page only.

CUALLI Latin American and Iberian Food Studies Review
CUALLI Latin American and Iberian Food Studies Review is an interdisciplinary electronic journal dedicated to the examination of food symbolic, production, and consumption systems of Latin American and Iberian communities. It is published annually in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Submission of works following MLA style is preferred, but given the interdisciplinary nature of CUALLI, other styles may be approved upon revision. Manuscripts should not exceed 5,500 words. Works are peer-reviewed; please send manuscript only with title, and include a separate page with the author’s name, article’s title, and a short CV.
