Art of African Architecture Exhibition Comes to Kennesaw in February

January 22, 2016

CPDI PosterThe Community Planning & Design Initiative Africa is proud to present The Art of African Architecture Exhibition, a celebration of the 25 Wining Designs from the CPDI Africa 2015, Modern African Architecture Design Competition!  This special traveling exhibition features innovative contemporary residential design inspired by traditional architecture across the continent of Africa.  Join CPDI Africa and Partners as we celebrate built environment professionals from 29 countries, with wining architecture from The Republic of Benin, Puerto Rico, Vietnam, Russia, Nigeria, Japan, USA, Ethiopia and more!

CPDI Africa is a culture-inspired, research-based, design-build competition, created to inspire the development of successful neighborhoods and communities on the continent, with modern African architecture that is both culturally and environmentally sustainable. Believing that the redevelopment of Africa's built environment should be as it has always been, built as a collaborative effort between the community members and designated master builders, CDPI Africa engages participation from the design community in Africa and the Diaspora at large, for the accomplishment of its vision.
