Youth and SDGs E-Learning Course
CIFAL Atlanta, in collaboration with the Georgia Institute of Technology, UNITAR, and the Regional Centers of Excellence (RCE), with the financial support of Turner Foundation, has co-developed a Youth & Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) E-learning course, announced during a virtual showcase on May 13th, 2020, and launched that same day.
Course Duration: 6-week long course
To provide intensive training to youth on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and its targets, while encouraging them to design and implement a community project related to one of the SDGs

The course is aimed at the Youth Network of the RCE Greater Atlanta comprised of students involved across many higher education institutions in the Greater Atlanta area, including
- Agnes Scott College
- Clark Atlanta University
- Emory University
- Georgia Institute of Technology
- Georgia State University
- Kennesaw State University
- Morehouse College
- Spelman College
- University of Georgia.
At the conclusion of the programme, participants will be able to identify social, economic, and ecological sustainability needs of the Greater Atlanta communities, propose potential solutions to address current challenges, as well as to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to create and implement sustainable development action projects.
