Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

On March 11th, the U.S. Department of State issued a Level 3: Reconsider Travel GLOBAL Health Advisory for all countries due to the global impact of COVID-19.  The Department of State advises U.S. citizens to reconsider travel abroad due to the global impact of COVID-19.  All university-sponsored travel in China, Italy, South Korea and the Schengen Area of Europe has been cancelled by the university following the implementation of a CDC Level 3 Warning: Avoid Nonessential Travel due to COVID-19.

Following this guidance and out of an abundance of caution, the Division of Global Affairs has subsequently made the very difficult decision to cancel ALL spring and summer education abroad programs.

Please be advised that this situation is evolving. Kennesaw State University will continue to monitor professional resources. Changes in guidance will be posted to the Office of International Safety & Security Travel Notices & Alerts page as they become available.

Note that the Education Abroad Office will continue to operate during normal business hours from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. In-person meetings and advising sessions are suspended at this time. You can still reach a member of our staff by calling or emailing during regular business hours. Visit our contact page for more information.
