The Division of Global Affairs has partnered with KSU's Global Village, Undergraduate Admissions and Foreign Language Association to bring the KSU community a full-schedule of engaging events and activities for this year's International Education Week. Current events may have prevented international travel for us this year, but that doesn't mean that the mission of international education stops. New platforms and innovative ways to connect have made this year's International Education Week possible. We hope that you will join us for a week packed with engaging events and opportunities to expand your global knowledge. See the list of events below.

November 11 Events

  • Arts as Activism

    Exhibition - Arts as Activism: Social Justice & Sustainability

    Presented by: CIFAL Atlanta

    Location: Zuckerman Museum of Arts - Fine Arts Gallery

    Event Description:
    The "Art as Activism: Social Justice and Sustainability" exhibition was created by two 2020 Distinguished United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Ambassadors as a creative way to progress towards social justice locally and around the world. This initiative gives community members the platform to share what social issues are most important to them (SDG 10) while helping to decrease the carbon footprint of the area by diverting waste from landfills (SDG 12). All of the works in this exhibit have two things in common: they are made from sustainable materials and themed around social issues. The exhibition will be open November 11th-20th in the Zuckerman Museum of Arts - Fine Arts Gallery.

  • Transatlantic Youth Dialogue

    Transatlantic Youth Dialogue: The Future of International Cultural Relations: What now?

      Olivia Wenzel is a playwright, novelist, and musician. Her new novel, "1000 Coils of Fear", is told in the voice of a protagonist who, like the author, is a Black German woman. The protagonist travels to the US and returns to Berlin.
