Faculty Led Programs
The Office of International Safety & Security (OISS) is charged with helping to ensure the safety and security of KSU students, faculty, and staff traveling overseas. In order to ensure that we have the capability to assist you and to comply with the Clery Act, that now extends internationally; we need to collect some information.
- OISS Travel Itinerary Form – Required 2 weeks prior to departure*
- OISS Travel Advisory Form – For all students and traveling faculty/staff**
- OISS Program Petition for Level 3 travel
- Register with On Call International
- Register with CISI
- Safety & Security Briefing – OISS provides country specific safety & security briefings
*We understand that travel plans may change and that is okay. Simply keep us informed via email and note that all addresses must be 100% correct in order to comply with the federal regulations of the Clery Act.
** Students complete their forms through Studio Abroad. Faculty are responsible to ensure that all program participates have completed the necessary forms for their program.

Individual Faculty Travel – No Accompanying Students
Kennesaw State University places no general university restrictions on faculty and staff for work on research, conferences, etc. in international destinations unless the location is under a U.S. DoS Level 4 Travel Advisory. Countries under CDC Level 3 Travel Notice may also require additional information. Please contact OISS for additional information for Faculty travel to a location under a U.S. DoS Level 4 Travel Advisory and/or a CDC Level 3 Travel Notice at email@example.com
Faculty Travel Resources:
*Faculty has automatic coverage through CISI. However, in order to expedite insurance claims for any possible incidents, we encourage Faculty to register prior to departing.
