  • At Kennesaw State, it is mandatory for all international students holding F and J visas to maintain comprehensive health insurance throughout their study duration in the United States. To fulfill this requirement, the University System of Georgia (USG) has collaborated with UnitedHealthcare StudentResources (UHCSR) to administer the sponsored injury and sickness Insurance plan.

  • If you have family members other than a spouse or child who wish to visit you while you are studying in the United States, they must enter the country either with a visitor visa (B-1/B-2) or through WB/WT status under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP).

    Spouses and children are eligible to enter the U.S. as visitors for a brief period. However, if they intend to stay for an extended duration, it is advisable for spouses or children to enter on dependent visas specifically designated for that purpose.

  • Registration Holds

    Please check your OwlExpress account to why you have a hold on your account. The most common holds for new students are holds for proof of immunizations or for a final transcript. Please review the information on the Registrar's website for additional information about who to contact to resolve your hold.
