Latin American Film Festival
This program is designed to highlight groundbreaking films from Latin America and to build awareness among the KSU campus and greater-Atlanta community. The artistry of these films brings to light the important social and cultural topics they address.
Screenings are free and open to the public. Each film will be accompanied by a brief introduction from the Consul General of the film's host country, as well as a Q&A session following the screening.

2022 Film Festival
As part of the VIII KSU Latin American Film Festival and the Latin American/Latinx Studies Film Series, in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, the award-winning Venezuelan film Tamara (2016) will be screened and discussed this Wednesday, 7-9:30 PM in SO 2034. We will be joined by José Novoa, writer-producer of the film. He is giving this special presentation in recognition of the last film made by his wife Elia Schneider, who passed away in 2020. We will be joined by former KSU student Ria Drane, LMSW, and Kaelyn Ireland, who is currently a graduate student in MAST.
