Confucius Institute Sponsors Two Teams at 2018 Atlanta Dragon Boat Race
Two teams represented Kennesaw State University (KSU) at Georgia's largest Hong Kong cultural event of the year, the Atlanta Dragon Boat Race. Thousands of people from across the state of Georgia gathered at Lake Lanier Saturday to support teams, enjoy Chinese cultural activities and delight in international cuisine.

KSU Alumna Pays it Forward with Takada Scholarship
Kennesaw State University (KSU) students now have even more opportunity to take their education overseas due to the generosity of Hideo and Karen Takada. The Takada Scholarship for International Education contract was officially signed on Thursday of last week and was granted to its inaugural recipient, Samantha Rudd, this Saturday at the Division of Global Affairs (DGA) International Achievement Awards.

Asian Leaders Institute Concludes with Human Rights Studies in Miami and D.C
Last week, the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Institute concluded their educational study tour with a trip to Miami Beach Fl. where they examined pressing issues surrounding immigration and refugee programs in the southeastern United States. After spending three full days in Miami, the fellows flew to Washington D.C. to experience the picturesque museums and historical treasures that the city has to offer while studying conflict management.

Award Winning Author and Photographer Brings India to KSU
Thanks to the generous donation made by the Sheth Foundation, a photo exhibit of award winning author and photographer, Robert Arnett's, work is on display through March 7 in the Social Sciences Atrium. The exhibit is part of the Kennesaw State University (KSU) Division of Global Affairs (DGA) Annual Country Study Program: Year of India.
